About The Position

The Assistant Golf Professional works in the Parks + Rec department at Fred Arbanas Golf Course. The role assists with supervising, planning, coordinating, and implementing the golf course’s overall objectives, policies, programs, and budget control. The employee provides supervision in the absence of the Golf Professional and serves as Acting Golf Professional when that professional is absent. The position is also responsible for controlling the retail store budget and selecting and purchasing items for the retail operation.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Parks and Recreation Administration or a related field.
• Successfully complete the PGA playing ability test.
• Be enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Program before employment.
• Submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities
