Requirements

  • Position requires PGA Class A membership or Level 2-3 PGM University/Associate.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required, one of which is in outside golf operations.
  • Proven record of quality customer service and communication skills.
  • Oral Comprehension: ability to listen and understand the needs of co-workers, clientele, and visitors
  • Oral Expression: ability to communicate with proper word selection, spoken grammar, and in a manner to is comprehended by the recipient
  • Written Comprehension: ability to read and understand industry specific documents, articles, professional journals, etc.
  • Written Expression: ability to write with proper word selection, grammar and sentence/paragraph/report structure
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and dedicated to providing superior customer service
  • Must project confidence in staff and membership; demonstrate leadership skills in working with staff, members and guests
  • Honest and high level of integrity
  • Personal and social habits outside of the job need to reflect the responsibility of the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in golf operations or a related role is preferred.
  • College degree or working toward college degree (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of golf operations, including supervising, scheduling, and training starter and ranger staff.
  • Support tournament preparations, including organization, setup, and execution.
  • Provide golf instruction and coaching to members and guests to enhance their experience.
  • Foster positive relationships with club members and guests, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with other golf operations staff to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Perform duties with discretion and independent judgment, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Supervise and oversee work of Interns, Shop Attendants, & Outside Operations Personnel.
