Assistant Golf Professional
About The Position
River Hall Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support the Head Golf Professional and/or Director of Golf in delivering exceptional service and a high-quality golf experience to members and guests. This role assists with daily golf operations, including coordinating tee times, working with outside services, providing golf instruction, supporting tournaments, and promoting the game in alignment with the Club’s standards of excellence. The club features an award-winning golf course designed by Davis Love III, top-tier practice facilities, and is a premier destination for golf in the region.
Requirements
- Registered PGA PGM Level 2 Associate working towards Class A.
- Previous experience in a golf-related role or relevant education in golf management, required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of golf equipment, rules, and etiquette.
- Valid Driver's License.

- Class A Member preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.
- Reconcile daily tee sheets, perform check-in, and receive payments from members and guests.
- Organize and control play ensuring members and guests receive the best service and enjoyment during their day.
- Assist in organizing, promoting, and running tournaments and other events.
- Perform basic club repairs and custom fitting.
- Provide private and group instructions for members and guests.
- Organize and control the practice facilities.
- Offer members, prospective clients, or guests the opportunity to play in a variety of formats.
- Manage and maintain an accurate account of golfer Handicaps.
- Maintain Hole-in-one service standards.
- Organize, monitor, and maintain an adequate level of Golf shop operational supplies.
- Operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by Hampton Golf.
- Participate in member golf activities and provide golf instruction to members and guests.
- Maintain membership within the PGA of America.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
