About The Position
Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support our Golf department. Work on a renowned golf course located in sunny Carmel Valley, California. Learn and grow within a strong golf operation. Requirements
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain organization and a positive attitude
- Minimum three years golf course experience
- Current progress or interest towards attaining PGA Membership
- The ability to interact professionally with members and guests and deliver exceptional customer service
- The ability to learn and efficiently work in a retail environment including use of a cash register
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating details of golf events (scorecards, proximities, pairings, rules sheet, scoreboard, etc.)
- Act as receptionist to all guests coming in and/or calling the golf shop
- Reserve tee times for members and outside guests; collect payment for tee times and golf shop retail purchases using the Point-of-Sales system
- Organize group outings, special events and tournaments and manage communication between departments to help ensure coordination of activities.
- Assist with the cleaning, inventory, and maintaining the golf shop's appearance and merchandise
