About The Position

Robbinsdale Cooper High School is seeking an Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach for the JV team. This position runs from August through November. The coach will be responsible for fostering an attitude of fair play, adhering to the Minnesota State High School League "Code of Ethics," and attending all practices and contests. The role involves instructing student-athletes on the rules, rule changes, and innovative strategies of volleyball, while maintaining a thorough understanding of Minnesota State High School League regulations. The coach must also align with the educational and athletic philosophy of Robbinsdale Area Schools and follow all district rules and regulations.

Requirements

• College degree.
• Coaching certification.
• Knowledge of sport.

• Coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate an attitude of fair play for adhering to the Minnesota State High School League "Code of Ethics."
• Carry out responsibilities of an assistant coach.
• Be in regular attendance at all contest and practice sessions.
• Instruct student/athlete in rules, rule changes, new developments and innovative ideas in coaching.
• Have understanding knowledge of rules and regulations as presented by the Minnesota State High School League.
• Adhere to the educational and athletic philosophy and objectives of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
• Follow rules and regulations of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
