About The Position

Canby High School is hiring an Assistant Girls Soccer Goalkeeper Coach. This is a non-district funded position, contingent upon fundraised dollars. The coach will be responsible for working successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public, and performing extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies. The position requires meeting criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon and performing the essential functions of the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures
• Current First Aid/CPR card
• Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
• Completion of OSAA trainings: Interscholastic Coaching Course, Concussion Recognition & Management, Heat Illness Prevention, Anabolic Steroids and Performance-Enhancing Substances, and Interrupting and Preventing Discriminatory Acts
• Completion of District trainings: SafeSchools (Vector Training)
• Agreement to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment

Nice To Haves

• Experience/knowledge of the sport of interscholastic Soccer
• Experience/knowledge of coaching techniques
• Experience/knowledge of student supervision
