About The Position

The individual accepting this position will coach basketball beginning in the 2026-27 season. This coach will possess high ethical and moral standards and be able to work under the guidelines and policies set forth by the Oregon City School District, High School and Athletic Department. They should be an excellent role model for high school student/athletes, establish rapport with players, teach the fundamentals and strategy of basketball and be supportive of all Oregon City programs. The chosen applicant will help oversee all aspects of the high school basketball program.

Requirements

• High ethical and moral standards.
• Ability to effectively communicate with administration, teaching staff, community members, parents and student athletes.
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Fingerprinting and criminal record check at own expense (presently $12.50 per employee) for conditionally employed applicants.

Responsibilities

• Coach basketball beginning in the 2026-27 season.
