About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach for the 26-27 school year at Liberty Middle School. The role requires enthusiasm for athletics, availability for all related activities, and a strong understanding of the assigned sport's fundamentals. The coach must be able to model behavior as outlined in the Coaches Handbook and support the overall athletic program. Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years is expected. Additionally, candidates must possess current First Aid and CPR certifications. Those recommended for hire will need to attend training on Hepatitis B and HIV, receive necessary vaccinations, and complete the district's sexual harassment training. A background check, including fingerprinting, will be conducted. As per WIAA Regulations, assistant coaches must be at least 19 years of age. While a classroom teacher is preferred, it is not a requirement for this coaching position.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for athletics.
