About The Position

JLL is seeking an Assistant General Property Manager to join their office property management team. This role involves managing a small portfolio and/or assisting the General Manager in managing an office portfolio. The position requires multi-tasking and flexibility. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, managing tenant improvement (TI) and/or capital improvement projects, engaging with tenants, and ensuring outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will be strategic, decisive, and focused on creating an energized and collaborative environment. They will contribute to establishing and refining work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices, and will help develop successful, diverse teams through inclusive communication. The role also emphasizes managing client and vendor relationships, conflict resolution, account maintenance, and overall client relationship development. Success is measured by the ability to develop winning strategies for project execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of commercial real estate or property management experience
  • Experience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other types of related financial reports
  • Experience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Kardin or MRI
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior level management, clients, tenants, vendors, peers and the public
  • Both verbal and written communication skills are vital
  • Good at establishing relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of technology tools
  • Proven track record of results (act decisively, think big, and manage your time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment)
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • A degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred
  • Texas real estate license preferred
