About The Position

Now Hiring: Assistant General Manager. Ready to step into a restaurant leadership role with LV Petroleum - one of the FASTEST growing travel center companies? We are looking for a driven, hands on Assistant General Manager to help lead a high-energy Miss J's Cafe, delivering great guest experiences, and keeping operations running smoothly from open to close. WALK-IN Interviews: From 11pm - 4pm at our travel center located in 225 E Evergreen St, Strafford, MO!

Requirements

Two to three years of leadership experience in restaurant or food service
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
Understanding of cost control, scheduling, and daily operations
Strong problem solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

Responsibilities

Partner closely with the General Manager to support daily restaurant operations, ensure food quality standards are met, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
Help lead, train, and develop team members while supporting recruiting and retention of top talent. Delegate tasks, manage workflows, and provide ongoing feedback to build a strong and motivated team.
Ensure every guest has a positive experience by maintaining high standards of service, resolving concerns professionally, and leading by example in all interactions.
Support financial performance by helping manage inventory control costs, assist with scheduling and payroll, and ensure operations align with sales and budget goals. Also assist with local marketing efforts and community engagement.
