Assistant General Manager Concourse Club – Our Rooftop Bar at the Element by Westin Wood-Ridge, NJ About Concourse Club Imagine a year-round, sky-high escape at the Concourse Club, nestled atop the Element by Westin in Wood-Ridge, NJ. This is the rooftop lounge everyone’s talking about, featuring handcrafted cocktails, locally brewed beers, and inventive small plates—all served with a side of stunning panoramic views. From intimate events to large parties, we host private catered events for up to 100 guests, making every occasion an unforgettable experience. As Our Assistant General Manager, You’ll: Report directly to the Restaurant General Manager to elevate the rooftop operation to new heights! Lead by example, showing your team what true integrity and performance look like. Collaborate with a team of top-notch professionals to deliver an elevated guest experience that stands out. Own shifts at our chic bar and expansive rooftop, creating the perfect environment for both guests and teammates. Take charge of all Front of House operations, including human resources, operations, and marketing, ensuring flawless execution. Partner closely with the Hotel Management Team to guarantee a seamless, unified guest experience every time. Optimize staffing, keeping the team at the perfect levels while minimizing overtime. Drive the creation and execution of promotional events, collaborating with our Marketing, PR, and hotel teams to generate buzz. Establish and nurture local business partnerships, working with the Hotel Director of Sales to enhance our brand presence in the community. Requirements

Has at at least 2 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager, Service Manager, or Bar Manager at a full-service restaurant with a $2M+ volume.
Thrives in a fast-growing, emerging environment, ready to adapt, innovate, and lead.
Excellent communication skills—you’re a pro at building rapport with guests and teammates alike.
Is a self-starter who can also work well in a collaborative team.
Brings an exceptional work ethic and an upbeat, engaging personality.
Is a multi-tasking champion, staying cool under pressure and getting things done.
Has a positive, guest-focused attitude that elevates the team’s vibe.
