About The Position

As an Assistant General Manager, you will oversee daily operations across cafés, microkitchens, and support event execution within the assigned building. In addition, you will partner with the Executive Chef to ensure food programs meet Bon Appétit standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and cost-effectiveness. You will maintain compliance with Health Department, OSHA, ADA, allergen protocols, and Bon Appétit safety standards. You will own the successful launch and ongoing performance of new café openings and program expansions. Ensure daily operational details are executed consistently while maintaining a strategic view of long-term goals. Ensure all allergen signage in cafés and microkitchens is accurate, clearly displayed, and compliant with regulatory and internal standards. Partner with the culinary team to verify ingredient disclosures and maintain up-to-date allergen labeling. This role requires the ability to pivot and adapt as this account is unique food service locations that involves (pallet jacks / forklifting) and that its always changing. Focus on guest experience and client relations.

Requirements

  • Experience in corporate dining and elevated hospitality.
  • Be adaptable to work weekends and graveyard shifts if needed as the outlet is 24 hours.
  • 4 years of food service management experience.
  • Comprehensive food knowledge.
  • Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.
  • Financial management and business acumen skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
  • Associate’s degree is preferred.
