About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee high-volume retail facilities. The role involves generating and executing travel center and restaurant business plans to meet established standards, sales, and profit objectives, while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for meeting customer expectations, conducting meetings with subordinate employees, and maintaining effective vendor relationships. This position involves building, coaching, managing, and developing teams through staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training. Key responsibilities include driving sales, managing team members, tracking inventory, providing customer service, and performing P&L analysis.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results
Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with P&L accountability
Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture
Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends and holidays
Exemplify integrity and accountability at the managerial level
Demonstrate excellent team leadership skills
