About The Position

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team at the JdV by Hyatt located in Brooklyn, NY. Candidates must have prior hotel management experience and a passion for delivering superior customer service.

Requirements

• Previous Hyatt hotel management experience
• Food Handlers Certificate
• FLSD Certificate (must have or obtain within 90 days)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk, housekeeping, engineering, bar and restaurant operations.
• Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, coaching, counseling, problem resolution, and discipline.
• Resolve customer complaints, anticipate potential problems, and address operational issues, business flow, and associate performance.
• Prepare forecasts and reports, and assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the budget to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
