About The Position

Introduction: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of our business. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing a team of employees, overseeing the reviews of the hotel, and developing and implementing strategies for growth and success. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs. The assistant general manager will assist General Manager in many administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role with IHG
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong financial management skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations
  • Oversee performance of the hotel, including setting goals and monitoring results, responding to reviews daily
  • Willing to work all shifts if necessary.
  • Onboarding new associates, interviewing possible new hires.
  • Ensuring hotel is meeting Brand Metric on all categories.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and management
  • Other duties as assigned, daily uploads and reconciliation of daily audits, training new associates.
