About The Position

JETSET Pilates is a modern, music-driven Pilates brand focused on making fitness accessible, community-centered, and scalable. We are seeking an exceptional Assistant General Manager to help launch our first studio in Washington D.C. As a founding team member, you will collaborate with the General Manager to establish the studio, build the instructor team, and set the cultural standard for the studio floor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in local marketing initiatives, including tabling events, community activations, and collaborations with lifestyle, wellness, and fitness brands.
  • Build relationships with prospective members, local influencers, and corporate partners to drive sales.
  • Support the studio's social media presence by creating content and building an audience.
  • Instruct a high volume of classes per week, maintaining the JETSET standard of excellence.
  • Provide real-time feedback, encouragement, and form corrections to clients.
  • Coach instructors through regular 1:1s and in-class observations, ensuring consistency in delivery and client experience.
  • Embody the JETSET method, fostering community, connection, and belonging.
  • Oversee and develop Studio Leads, providing training and feedback.
  • Facilitate new client onboarding and integration into the JETSET community.
  • Review Net Promoter Scores and address detractor feedback in partnership with the GM.
  • Support daily studio operations, including stepping in as acting GM, scheduling, reporting, and operational continuity.
  • Provide regular updates to the GM on instructor pipeline, talent development, and floor operations.
  • Contribute to the documentation and improvement of studio policies, processes, and playbooks.
