Assistant General Manager
About The Position
Drury Inn & Suites Phoenix Happy Valley is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the largest team in the hotel, focusing on the heart of the house - Housekeeping. This role is part of the Drury Hotels Operations Leadership team, responsible for providing expert leadership across all hotel departments, ensuring exceptional guest service, training and developing team members, and achieving key business metrics in quality, service, profitability, and team performance. The Assistant General Manager will also role model quality assurance best practices and consistently meet or exceed performance measures.
Requirements
- Minimum of one-year supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership success
- Hotel experience preferred
- Passion to serve others and exceed our guests’ expectations
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide expert leadership across all departments of the hotel taking the lead on providing exceptional guest service
- Train, develop, and coach team members to achieve success in their roles
