The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. This role focuses on ensuring happy guests, spotless cleanliness, product consistency & quality, and teamwork. The Assistant General Manager will supervise daily operations, including guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring friendly service, cleanliness, and that all equipment is in working order. They will also be responsible for training new team members, managing shifts, overseeing check-in/check-out processes, fostering a positive culture, conducting room inspections, assisting with inventory, supporting onboarding, monitoring time clock punches, completing audits and reporting, managing the purchase order process, ensuring invoice accuracy, overseeing quality assurance and brand standards, certifying fire and life safety inspections, escalating service failures, confirming preventative maintenance, and ensuring adherence to work schedules. The role may also require covering open department head positions.
