The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for influencing and inspiring a dynamic work force. This role involves interviewing, hiring, training, and managing Front Desk, Maintenance, and Kids’ club departments to meet Equinox brand standards. The AGM will assist these departments in developing schedules and ensuring adherence to payroll budgets. They will also complete staff performance evaluations monthly and annually, adhere to monthly ordering timelines and supply budgets, and ensure a high level of customer service for club members. In partnership with the General Manager, the AGM will support ancillary departments and sales, be aware of monthly departmental goals and projections, and ensure the club's cleanliness and adherence to Risk Management and Loss Prevention procedures. The role also includes monitoring the safety and security of the club and facilitating other projects as delegated by the General Manager. The position requires openness to location reassignments and the ability to work flexible schedules based on business needs.
