About The Position

Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) / Jiffy Lube is hiring for an Assistant General Manager. This role is for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to jump-start their career with an industry leader. The Assistant General Manager will support daily operations, drive sales results, and lead a team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who loves coaching people, solving problems, and building a winning store culture.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
Clear communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
Comfortable working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments
Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Responsibilities

Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away
