Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, recreation, aquatics, entertainment, retail, food and beverage, or a related Guest-focused industry.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, resolve conflict, make sound decisions, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of labor management, inventory control, cost management, revenue generation, and operational reporting.
  • Ability to remain visible, engaged, organized, and effective during busy operating periods.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a warm, humid, fast-paced waterpark environment.
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, carry, clean, organize, and assist with operational tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, communication, and follow-through.
  • Set clear expectations, coach Associates and supervisors, and hold team members accountable for performance and standards.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, retention, and disciplinary processes.
  • Foster a culture focused on safety, Guest service, teamwork, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee daily operations across aquatics, attractions, admissions, retail, arcade, and Guest services.
  • Maintain a strong leadership presence during peak periods, weekends, holidays, events, and shift transitions.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, organization, staffing readiness, and facility presentation.
  • Resolve Guest concerns promptly and ensure consistent execution of opening, closing, and daily operating procedures.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
  • Address safety concerns, incidents, and policy violations immediately and professionally.
  • Partner with maintenance to manage facility conditions, repairs, preventive maintenance, and regulatory readiness.
  • Participate in emergency response planning, drills, and incident documentation.
  • Assist in achieving revenue, labor, expense, and profitability goals.
  • Manage labor deployment, scheduling efficiency, inventory controls, purchasing, and cost containment.
  • Support revenue growth through admissions, retail, arcade, events, promotions, and Guest engagement initiatives.
  • Review operational performance, Guest feedback, and business trends with the GM to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain clear communication with the GM, supervisors, Associates, maintenance, and support teams.
  • Document and follow up on performance issues, incidents, projects, and operational priorities.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, confidentiality, problem-solving, and consistent follow-through.
