About The Position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and overall store performance. The AGM helps train employees, participates in in‑store tasks, and contributes to sales growth by executing operational standards and achieving KPIs.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 1 year of retail management experience.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages).
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods; lift 50+ lbs.; bend, reach, crawl, and climb stairs.
  • Comfortable in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Open and/or close the store, maintain store cleanliness, and oversee cash and credit card procedures.
  • Order, receive, and track inventory in the store POS system.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, on‑the‑job training, scheduling, and corrective actions.
  • Lead by example using J Team Service Standards while supervising and performing lube services.
  • Ensure a positive guest experience by resolving customer needs and concerns.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and Environmental, Health & Safety compliance.
  • Oversee full store operations in the General Manager’s absence.
