About The Position

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant and beverage operation results.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, nightlife‑driven environment.
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.
  • A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.
  • Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Must be Serv-Safe and RAMP certified.
  • Must have full working knowledge of POS.
  • Must have knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
  • Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to, implement, and uphold all company and departmental policies.
  • Supervise and assist in daily training of managers and hourly employees; maintain open communication across the department.
  • Maintain beverage/food inventories and ensure quality control for alcohol service.
  • Ensure timely, consistent, elevated service aligned with lounge standards.
  • Assist in managing labor, beverage, and food costs to meet budgeted goals.
  • Ensure employee and guest safety through strong knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable liquor laws and gaming regulations.
  • Achieve revenue goals, control expenses, and maximize profitability across lounge operations.
  • Maintain company operating standards and demonstrate professionalism that reflects Live!’s values.
  • Respond to guest trends, feedback, and issues to enhance satisfaction and future business.
  • Extend complimentaries in accordance with the property comp matrix.
  • Other duties as assigned.
