Delaware North’s Patina Group is searching for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Banners Kitchen & Tap in Boston, Massachusetts. Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as an Assistant General Manager, or Senior Restaurant Manager with a focus on beverage management
  • No college degree required
  • ServSafe preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong financial and computer skills; experience working with and understanding P&Ls
  • Microsoft Office Suite- Word and Excel knowledge
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to deal effectively with all types of team members and guests

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager to train, manage and oversee front-of-house service staff, ensuring delivery of products and professional services is consistent with budget, policies, procedures, and quality
  • Ensure all Health Department regulations are being adhered to and the restaurant is clean, sanitized, and safe for team members and guests
  • Collaborate with leaders to maximize sales potential and profitability, including promotions, guest satisfaction, monitoring product and labor costs, and reviewing financial information
  • Order and conduct weekly inventory of wine, liquor, and other supplies
  • Build rapport with restaurant guests and ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience
