About The Position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) reports directly to the General Manager and assists in achieving the people, financial, and operational goals of the restaurant. This role involves supporting the GM in various aspects of restaurant management, including staffing, employee morale, coaching, training, and ensuring adherence to brand standards and safety regulations. The AGM is also responsible for contributing to sales and profit goals, managing inventories and payroll, and maintaining operational excellence and asset standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Must obtain a Tuberculosis Clearance Certificate

Nice To Haves

  • Open availability. Nights, weekends and Holidays expected
  • Minimum 5 day, 45 hour work week
  • Available to work anywhere on the island
  • Reliable transportation is recommended to complete business transactions as needed

Responsibilities

  • Assists GM in achieving restaurant’s staffing and development goals
  • Assists GM in monitoring/ improving employee morale
  • Personally coaches staff
  • Support employee training
  • Ensures communication of all Group and Brand standards and initiatives
  • Ensures safety is everyone’s top priority
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws
  • Assists GM in achieving sales and profits to plan
  • Assists GM in completion of weekly and/or period end inventories and payroll
  • Displays urgency to correct daily financial control deficiencies
  • Strives to drive year-upon-year growth in sales and profits
  • Delivers/ improves delivery of operations to Brand operational standards
  • Raises the bar in operational execution
  • Ensures facilities are maintained to Brand standard on a daily basis
  • Displays awareness of asset deficiencies and urgency to correct them
  • Displays awareness and urgency to eliminate any potential for liability
  • Performs other duties as assigned
