We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager who is passionate about luxury service, food and beverage excellence, and building meaningful relationships with our members. Position Summary The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the Beach Club's daily operations, with a strong focus on food and beverage performance, member satisfaction, service excellence, and team leadership. This position plays a key role in fostering member relationships, driving club engagement, and ensuring seamless operations throughout all dining venues, beach services, special events, and member programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in upscale hospitality, private clubs, resorts, or upscale restaurants.
  • Previous experience managing food and beverage operations required.
  • Strong member relations and guest service skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and inventory controls.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with club members and serve as a visible, approachable leader.
  • Create memorable experiences that enhance member satisfaction and retention.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to member requests, concerns, and feedback.
  • Assist in planning and executing member events, social activities, and special club functions.
  • Promote a welcoming culture that encourages member participation and engagement.
  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations to ensure exceptional service standards.
  • Collaborate with culinary and service teams to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
  • Monitor service execution, product quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in menu development, promotions, and special dining events.
  • Maintain beverage, liquor, and inventory controls.
  • Support revenue growth initiatives and achievement of departmental financial goals.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop service team members.
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings and communicate club priorities.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
  • Monitor staffing levels and labor productivity.
  • Assist with performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management efforts.
  • Monitor labor costs, food costs, and operational efficiencies.
  • Analyze operational performance and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure accurate reporting, scheduling, and payroll practices.
  • Assist in achieving annual revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Ensure all club facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Oversee beachfront operations, dining venues, and member amenities.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Act as Manager on Duty as needed.
  • Support the General Manager with strategic initiatives and club enhancements.
