Assistant General Manager: Bear Creek Golf Club: a premier public 36-hole destination minutes from DFW Airport, featuring two Ted Robinson championship courses and an event venue that hosts up to 1,000 guests — is hiring an Assistant General Manager focused on golf operations and high-volume events. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll co-lead day-to-day club operations with a strong emphasis on golf operations and the sale and flawless execution of outings, tournaments, banquets, and special events. You’ll be a hands-on, visible leader who drives revenue, develops the team, and ensures every guest — from daily-fee player to corporate group — has an exceptional experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership in golf operations, hospitality, or event/club management.
• Proven experience executing golf outings, tournaments, and/or large events.
• Strong financial acumen and comfort with POS/tee sheet systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak season.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily golf operations across two courses: tee sheet, pace of play, pro shop, and guest experience.
• Lead events team running golf outings, tournaments, and banquets, from sales handoff through day-of execution.
• Partner with sales, F&B, and agronomy to deliver seamless, high-volume events & daily fee experiences.
• Support F&B outlets and banquet catering service and standards along side F&B Team
• Help achieve revenue and budget targets; monitor labor, cost of goods, and daily financials.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop staff; manage the club in the GM’s absence.
