About The Position

IHOP is Hiring an Assistant General Manager! Are you a passionate restaurant leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence? We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead our IHOP restaurant and support the overall success of the operation. As an Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, develop team members, maintain brand standards, and drive sales and profitability.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant management experience required
• Experience in full-service dining preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, and food safety standards
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing all daily restaurant operations
• Lead, coach, and develop restaurant team members and shift leaders
• Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development
• Manage labor, scheduling, and staffing needs
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and operational standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering, and cost controls
• Drive team accountability and operational performance
• Step in to lead the restaurant in the General Manager’s absence
