About The Position

Paradies Lagardère is seeking an Assistant General Manager for its Paris Cafe location at JFK Airport. This role is part of the management team responsible for daily store operations, driving financial success, and building great teams. The position emphasizes creating a positive customer experience through human connection. Managers are expected to operate autonomously while utilizing the company's brand and business practices. The role involves growing a multi-million-dollar business through sales, nurturing talent, leading a team, and inspiring others as a brand ambassador.

Requirements

3+ years retail / customer service management experience.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales focused environment.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor team partners with professional maturity.
Minimum High School or GED.
Obtain and maintain current Serve Safe Food Manager’s Certification within six months of hire/promotion.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
Standing for long periods and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
Ability to work full time (the work regularly demands in excess of 40 hours per week) including variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Proficiency required in reading and writing, Microsoft Office Suite, and mathematics.
