About The Position

The Burger’s Priest is hiring an Assistant General Manager at our downtown Toronto location! Want to work at a place that's as serious about burgers as it is about creating a positive workspace? Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience leading a team
• Friendly and enthusiastic about everything you do
• Passionate about food and providing only the best guest experiences
• Food Handler Certified or willing to certify
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently as needed
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the team below you to provide “ABSOLUTE” service
• Set clear expectations and follow up with your team on a regular basis
• Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team
• Open and close the restaurant independently (key holder)
• Reconcile cash deposits
• Place orders and perform inventory counts
• Address customer concerns ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied
• Able to attract, interview and hire employees and build a strong team
• Understand food costing
• Can accurately schedule employees while achieving labour targets
