About The Position

Ensign Wholesale Flower Market is seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented professional to support our General Manager and Fresh Flower Buyer. This is not a traditional administrative role—it is a hands-on operational position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced wholesale environment, enjoys solving problems, and wants to grow into a larger leadership role over time. You will work directly with leadership, vendors, and internal teams to help drive purchasing, logistics, and execution during both daily operations and peak seasons.

Requirements

2+ years experience in administrative, purchasing, or operations support
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general systems/tools
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive problem solver with strong ownership and follow-through
Basic understanding of inventory management and purchasing processes

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations and key business initiatives
Maintain organized systems, track priorities, and ensure follow-through
Assist with purchase order entry, tracking, and reconciliation
Communicate with flower buyers, farms, vendors, and suppliers
Coordinate inbound shipments, including AWBs and vendor/farm invoices
Manage email communication and vendor follow-ups
Assist in planning and execution for peak seasons (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, weddings, etc.)
Help drive accountability and execution on growth initiatives
