About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is growing and seeking an experienced Food Service Manager to serve as the Assistant General Manager of Dining Services. This position requires a solid background in Contract Dining Services in an institutional setting such as a hospital, university, or school. The Assistant GM has overall responsibility of food service operations, in front and back of house. He/she institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; oversees the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The Assistant Director will serve as The General Manager in their absence. Metz Culinary Management is a FAMILY-DRIVEN company that collaborates with its partners to deliver RESTAURANT-INSPIRED hospitality to each and every guest.

Requirements

• Experienced manager with FOH and Catering background.
• Good financial acumen and computer skills.
• Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Front and Back of house Management Experience in a Contract Dining Services setting.
• Food Service Production.
• Manage Staff.
• Direct Sanitation and Safety.
• Train Supervisors.
• Human Resources functions, Hire, Terminate, Performance Reports, Payroll, Scheduling.
• Inventory and Ordering.
• Managing a Budget.
