Assistant General Counsel
About The Position
This role provides legal support to the Carbon Capture and Sequestration business team, the Tallgrass Water business team, and Tallgrass fiber initiatives. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in at least one state.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law, energy, or a related field.
- Experience supporting business teams and providing practical legal advice.
- Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the energy infrastructure sector.
- Knowledge of carbon capture and sequestration regulations.
- Experience with water rights and regulations.
- Familiarity with fiber optic network development and agreements.
