About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel to join our Legal team in Las Vegas. This role will serve as a trusted legal advisor across the business, supporting a wide range of commercial, fintech, regulatory, and employment-related matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong business judgment, exceptional contract negotiation skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
  • 8+ years of relevant law firm and/or in-house legal experience
  • Strong background in commercial contracting, technology transactions, and business counseling
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements, including software licensing and hosted services agreements
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a practical and solutions-oriented way
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial, technology, vendor, and strategic partnership agreements
  • Support the company’s fintech business area and advise on related legal and regulatory matters
  • Provide legal guidance on labor and employment issues, litigation support, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage vendor contracting workflows and partner closely with cross-functional business teams
  • Assist with regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and transactional matters including due diligence and document negotiation
  • Manage outside counsel and support pre-litigation and litigation activities as needed
  • Research and analyze complex legal issues and provide practical recommendations to leadership
  • Mentor and support a direct report while collaborating with a broader legal team
