Freddie Mac is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to lead and advise on complex financing, acquisition and other strategic transactions. This role offers the opportunity to handle law-firm-caliber transactional work in-house, with substantial ownership, direct partnership with business leaders and counterparties, and a more sustainable day-to-day practice than traditional firm roles. You will serve as lead counsel and trusted advisor on a broad range of complex transactions, including structuring, negotiating and documenting secured financing and other strategic transactions, advising on intercreditor arrangements, participations, syndications, collateral structures, lien perfection and insolvency-related issues, negotiating and documenting financing, transfer and other transaction agreements, advising on portfolio acquisitions, servicing transfers and counterparty strategic transactions, including M&A-related matters, translating complex legal issues into clear, practical advice for senior business stakeholders, and helping develop and implement new transaction structures and solutions.
