About The Position

As Assistant Front Office Manager at the Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport - Waterfront, you are responsible to deliver guest satisfaction, profitability, control costs and quality standards. This role involves overseeing room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting, and managing the department budget to maximize revenue. The position also requires compiling financial reports, interviewing, training, supervising, counseling, scheduling, and evaluating staff. You will provide leadership and guidance to Front Office staff, ensuring consistent quality service and implementing/developing Front Office training programs. A key part of the role is ensuring new hires receive necessary training to provide superior guest service using Company standards, assisting with daily operations, completing special projects, tracking and auditing front office training, managing sell-out efficiency, and responding to guest comments, issues, and finding resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue.
  • Compiles and prepares financial reports, including: rate and availability calendar.
  • Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to Front Office staff ensuring consistent quality service is provided.
  • Implements, develops and coordinates Front Office training programs.
  • Assures that all new hires within the Front Office receive the necessary training to provide superior guest service using Company standards.
  • Assists with daily Front Office operations and completes any special projects.
  • Tracks, inputs, maintains and audits front office training.
  • Manage sell out efficiency.
  • Responds to guest comments, addresses any issues and finds resolutions.
