About The Position

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the daily operations of the Front Office department by leading front desk, guest services, bell, and switchboard teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role partners closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes, uphold brand standards, resolve guest concerns, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate is service-focused, organized, and passionate about creating memorable hospitality experiences while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily Front Office operations including Front Desk, Guest Services, Bell Staff, and Switchboard functions
  • Lead and support associates to ensure exceptional guest service and operational efficiency throughout all shifts
  • Respond to guest concerns, service issues, and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Monitor check-in and check-out processes to maintain service quality, efficiency, and adherence to brand standards
  • Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing feedback to associates to support performance development and engagement
  • Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management processes for Front Office associates
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve departmental service standards, guest satisfaction scores, and operational procedures
  • Communicate important operational updates and guest information effectively across departments and shifts
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, cash handling practices, and safety standards
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment while supporting overall hotel goals and guest experiences
