About The Position

As an Assistant Foreman, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution and profitable delivery of projects by providing hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with project leadership. This role involves direct assistance and leadership in the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems, including pumping systems, power generation and distribution systems, HVAC systems, and energy and temporary utility systems. The Assistant Foreman will also actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts. A key aspect of the role is promoting and maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices. This includes identifying potential hazards and implementing necessary controls to guarantee the team operates in a manner that ensures project execution and minimizes risk. Collaboration with Project Leads and management is essential for monitoring project timelines, resource allocation, and ensuring projects are completed on time with all deployed equipment running efficiently for profitable delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
  • Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, a/c and heat and water restoration or construction equipment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with customers, team members and internal resources.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities
