The Assistant Football Coach serves under the direction and supervision of the Head Coach and Athletic Director. The person will help plan, organize, and direct the JV Football program as well as manage the conduct of athletes in the locker room, at practices and team functions, on the bus, and at games. Independent judgment and decision-making are required in many matters not having established rules, regulations, policies, or precedent. All coaches must complete staff training on Child Abuse Identification and Prevention in Oregon Schools; Sexual Misconduct – Staff-to-Student; and Bullying Prevention in Oregon Schools. Trainings in Coaching Fundamentals, Heads Up Football, Concussion Management, and Steroid Education are also required. All coaching contracts are issued on a year-to-year basis.
