Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous mechanical, automotive, construction, or equipment experience is a plus
Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Interest in growing within the company and skilled trades industry
Employees must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a background, motor vehicle check and drug screening.
Maintaining eligibility to operate company vehicles is a fundamental job requirement.
All employees that operate company vehicles must maintain their driving record as insurable under the company’s vehicle insurance provider.

Responsibilities

Performing preventive maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and lubrication
Assisting with inspections and repairs on brakes, steering, suspension systems, batteries, belts, hoses, and exhaust systems
Supporting maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment
Assisting with diagnostics and troubleshooting mechanical issues
Helping maintain clean, organized, and safe shop and work environments
Transporting vehicles, picking up parts, and assisting with fleet upkeep
Learning hands-on mechanical skills from experienced technicians and leadership
