Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of two years experience in revenue audit or similar accounting functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word
  • Must qualify for all licensing and permit requirements as mandated by federal, state, and local regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance and daily supervision to Finance department staff
  • Supports operational goals and monitors performance and profit objectives
  • Coordinates scheduling with attention to deadlines and communicates concerns to management
  • Supports compliance with departmental budgets
  • Performs revenue auditor duties as needed
  • Monitors revenue activity compliance through exception processes and ensures proper documentation
  • Executes audit procedures, makes necessary corrections, and collaborates with internal and external auditors
  • Completes journal entries, reconciles balance sheet accounts, and generates revenue reports and statistical analyses
  • Maintains and updates financial spreadsheets regularly
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and reports potential issues to management
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
