Assistant Field Manager (Property Inspector) - Part-Time
About The Position
Grand Welcome Great Smoky Mountains Franchise, a veteran-owned and operated vacation rental management company, is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant Field Manager (AFM) to ensure vacation rental properties are guest-ready. This role involves working onsite at various properties, often following cleaning teams, to verify that every property meets high hospitality standards and online listing descriptions. Responsibilities include conducting thorough quality control and inventory checks, reporting damages, performing minor maintenance tasks, and ensuring all amenities are properly displayed for guest arrivals. The AFM will also use technology such as Office365, property management systems, and inspection apps to document issues and coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams.
Requirements
- A dedicated, self-driven professional with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, field operations environment.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Reliable vehicle (you'll be driving between properties throughout the day)
- Valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance
- Ability to work minimum 1-2 days a week on-call (overnight)
- Live within 30 minutes driving of Sevierville, TN
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in hospitality, property inspection, or quality control is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and stage properties to exceed guest expectations and deliver top-tier hospitality.
- Conduct detailed post-cleaning inspections, verify inventory, and assess the overall condition of facilities.
- Identify and report maintenance needs and perform small repairs as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and use tech tools to track inspection data.
- Work flexible hours – including weekends and holidays – to accommodate scheduling needs.
