About The Position

Full Visibility is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Facility Security Officer (FSO) to support our security program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and applicable federal regulations. This role will assist the Facility Security Officer in managing day-to-day security operations, ensuring compliance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) requirements, and supporting employees with security-related needs. The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to company facilities or government sites as required. This will be a part time position of 5-10 hours per week.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in industrial security or related field.
• Familiarity with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and government security systems (DISS, NISS, eQIP).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to deliver training remotely.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accountability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FSO in implementing and maintaining compliance with NISPOM, DoD, and other federal security requirements.
• Support personnel security processes, including clearance applications, re-investigations, and continuous evaluation.
• Maintain accurate records in DISS, NISS, and other government systems.
• Conduct remote security briefings, debriefings, and training for cleared employees.
• Monitor and enforce OPSEC, INFOSEC, and CUI handling procedures.
• Assist with incident reporting, audits, and inspections.
• Collaborate with HR and program managers to ensure proper onboarding/offboarding of cleared staff.
• Provide guidance to employees on security policies, procedures, and best practices.
