As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will make routine rounds, stay visibly present to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm professionalism. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through clear communication, service-focused interactions, and timely reporting. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, checking doors, access points, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the facility by observing entrances and common areas, assisting with visitor directions, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations per post orders.
Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate key information during shift turnovers to support consistent post coverage.
