About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Facility Administrator to join our team. This leadership role supports overall operations and ensures program excellence, compliance, and staff development. The Assistant Facility Administrator will directly or indirectly supervise facility staff, supporting day-to-day operations. They will serve as the Facility Administrator designee in their absence and help lead facility service delivery to ensure youth and staff safety and a therapeutic environment. This role supports the implementation of the program’s therapeutic model for youth development, ensures compliance with local, state, and federal health, fire, and safety codes, and assists with performance and quality improvement initiatives. The Assistant Facility Administrator will also support licensing, accreditation, and contract compliance, report incidents or concerns in accordance with YOI and customer guidelines, and assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding staff following YOI HR policies. Additionally, they will follow procedures for purchasing, accounting, and budgeting. Other duties include maintaining a high standard of professional behavior as a role model for youth, participating in required training and professional development, reporting any incidents of concern, documenting physical interventions and unusual events per guidelines, assisting with organizing and leading the local advisory council, building strong community partnerships and volunteer engagement, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working with at-risk youth and families
  • At least two years of supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Able to coach staff and lead change in a team environment
  • Organized, motivated, and able to work independently
  • Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to transport clients and respond to physical needs
  • Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by state guidelines
  • Must pass Professional Assault Response (PAR) certification
  • Must be able to work long or irregular hours as needed
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must meet customer-required criminal background standards

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a human services field
  • Two years’ experience managing a residential or community-based program

Responsibilities
