About The Position

Azura Memory Care of Mukwonago is seeking a passionate healthcare leader for the Assistant Executive Director role. This position is an exciting leadership opportunity within a CBRF Household, focusing on building strong team cultures and creating a true sense of home for residents. Azura Memory Care is recognized as Wisconsin's Dementia Care Experts, operating purpose-built, intimate CBRF households designed as warm, home-like sanctuaries for individuals living with early to late-stage dementia and Alzheimer's. The environment, training (MOSAIC, Alzheimer's Association guidelines), and care approach are all crafted to foster joy, dignity, connection, and meaningful moments daily. The Assistant Executive Director will partner with the Executive Director to oversee daily operations, develop an outstanding caregiving team, deliver exceptional person-centered care, and cultivate lasting relationships with residents and families in the Mukwonago community. The role emphasizes leading a close-knit team, championing a positive and collaborative culture, and driving engaging programs, compliance excellence, and meaningful resident experiences.

Requirements

  • Healthcare experience in senior living, memory care, assisted living, or long-term care
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of team development and operational success
  • Genuine excitement about building culture and someone who truly values teamwork, collaboration, and lifting others up
  • A compassionate heart, strong communication skills, and a passion for making every day better for residents and staff
  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience in assisted living or long-term care
  • Flexibility with scheduling
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Computer skills including time and attendance, Microsoft Word, email
