About The Position

As an Assistant Equipment Technician, you will have the responsibility to maintain and upkeep all specialty pieces of equipment and tools used to perform maintenance procedures. All equipment and facilities will be checked, operated, and maintained by you in a meticulous manner every day. You will perform preventative maintenance, including but not limited to changing oil, filters, and tires. This role will require you to uphold all maintenance schedules related to reel grinding, preventative maintenance, and record-keeping. You will be responsible for all the equipment assigned to you, including but not limited to uniforms, coolers, PPE, rain gear, employee automotive decals, etc. You must wear your uniform appropriately, use proper protective equipment for each assignment, and demonstrate teamwork.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of mechanic experience required.
• Ability to work long periods of time walking, standing, or stooping.
• Work in an outside environment and all associated weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Team-orientated attitude.
• Flexibility with schedule - must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• May be required to work different hours in emergency situations.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Golf experience is helpful, but not required.
