Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering field or equivalent experience
Knowledge of GM Manufacturing systems, Tooling systems and Electrical Content within the assembly process.
Comfortable knowledge of the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP).
Candidates should be Action oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong teams and work cross-functionally / collaboratively.

Domestic or international travel depending on program/position.

Nice To Haves

Previous Plant or Launch Assignment.
Electrical, Software Architecture, and Program Team Experience.
Manufacturing Engineering experience.
Product launch or project management experience.
Working vehicle systems knowledge and the ability to review product design proposals for manufacturing impacts.

Responsibilities

Drive Electrical manufacturing integration from concept through to pre-production and plant builds.
Develop plant and program strategies for new products in conjunction with Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV, Other Manufacturing Centers and Manufacturing Planning.
Unify cross‑functional teams on a clear, shared direction to accurately capture overall Electrical impacts to manufacturing.
Bring the Electrical SDV and VaaT voice to program planning, making the proper escalations through the organization.
Collaborate with global team members across multiple time zones, requiring ﬂexibility and strong communication skills.
Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges.
Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functions including software, manufacturing, and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations.
