About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for the daily management of the establishment in partnership with the manager, including orders, bank deposits, staff management, and financial reports. They are also expected to build lasting relationships with customers and representatives, provide excellent customer service by welcoming each client and offering them a product adapted to their needs, participate in optimizing sales and store profitability, and ensure the store is clean and attractive. The role requires the ability to lift and transport merchandise regularly, potentially weighing up to 12 kg (25 lb), and to stand for extended periods. Fluency in French is required for this position in Quebec.

Requirements

Experience in staff management or retail (6 months and +)
Skills in human resources management
Ability to lift and transport merchandise regularly, frequently and without help, as needed. The weight of the merchandise can vary up to 12 kg (25 lb)
Ability to stand for long periods
Must speak French

Responsibilities

Assurer la gestion de l’établissement sur une base quotidienne en partenariat avec le gérant (commandes, dépôts bancaires, gestion du personnel et rapports financiers)
Entretenir des relations durables avec les clients et les représentants
