About The Position
District 22 is seeking an Assistant District Attorney for the Seminole County Office to perform a variety of professional duties, specifically: prosecution of criminal offenses, including misdemeanors and felonies; handling of juvenile cases, including neglect, delinquency, and child in need of supervision cases; providing legal services related to county government operations; and other duties assigned. Specific assignment of duties will vary based on experience.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from accredited law school
- Admitted to and in good standing with Oklahoma Bar Association
Nice To Haves
- Experience is not required, will consider newly licensed attorneys and those sitting for the July bar exam.
- Preference to live within one of the counties in District 22 (Pontotoc, Seminole, and Hughes) within a reasonable period of time of employment.
